Facebook Overhauls Page Manager iOS App
Great news for Apple users! On May 8, Facebook launched a new version of the “Pages Manager for iOS” app. According to Facebook, this update is a complete rebuild from the ground up to help make managing Page content faster, easier, and more powerful while on the go. This is another Facebook change that is welcome and was needed!
Facebook first released the Page Manager App last year. It enables Page Admins to easily post as the Page and view posts on the page.
This new release comes with multiple enhancements that make it more versatile, user-friendly, and valuable to use!
Key Changes in New iOS Page Manager App
1. Faster
Scrolling through the Page Timeline is faster and particularly opening and closing photos for viewing is faster. Simply use a single downward swipe to close a picture.
2. Image Tools

Taking features from the Facebook Camera App (remember that one?) that has gotten less use since the acquisition of Instagram, the new app allows basic editing including cropping, enhancements, and applying of filters. This is very helpful since previously the app included none of these tools and any edits had to be done via another 3rd party app on your device.
3. Stickers and Emojis (smileys)
This allows users to add stickers and emoticons to posts and keeps the app current with the features in the main mobile app and Messenger app.
As of now, these updates are only for the iOS version of Page Manager. Hopefully the tools come shortly to Android devices as well. At this time there continues to be no tab access in the mobile tools which means that TabSite users need to use the TabSite Smart Mobile URL offered in the manager and post this to the News Feed in order to be sure that smart phone, tablet, PC, and Notebook users can all access the tab on their device. This TabSite feature overcomes the limits of the Facebook app.
Have you updated to the new Page Manager app yet? What is still missing that you would like to see?
