‘The Voice’ Pays Tribute to Connecticut Victims with powerful ‘Hallelujah’ Chorus

Wow!  That’s all I’ve got to say.

“The Voice” judges Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, along with backup by the contestants, commemorated victims of the Newtown, Connecticut shooting by singing “Hallelujah” on the show’s finale Monday night.

It was moving to see competitors and their coaches on a candlelit stage, singing Leonard Cohen’s classic song. Every performer held one card, each printed with the name and age of a victim who died in last Friday’s shooting.
