What’s working now?

At the top of the funnel, I use Facebook Ads and Google Ads to target the right audience.  I use key demographics and interests to reach the right people.  For example, on Facebook at times I target by job titles.

I’ve also been seeing success with retargeting ads, meaning once people are on the website one time I reach them with a Facebook ad to further build rapport and connect with them.

The keys in the top of the funnel are to find ways to reach the right type of potential customer.

The next key through engagement and capture/nurture is to build the know/like/trust relationship.  This has specific ROI opportunities such as Liked your Page, followed you on Instagram and better yet is subscribed to your email campaign.

Through the know/like/trust process you build awareness, add value, remove barriers, and create a confidence in your ability to solve their problem/need.

Once accomplished, you can ask for the sale or they will contact you!

Options for ROI

So sales is a key ROI metric…but not the only metric to measure!  Other ROI metrics help you measure the initial success of your funnel and are good barometers to be watching.  They include:

1. Converted leads
Which is the number of extra customers who actually purchase your product or service.

2. Sales Revenue
This is the most self-explanatory

3. Community engagement metrics
Is your community followership engaged and growing?

4. Website authority
Is your website growing in traffic and Alexa ranking?

5. Landing page conversion rates
Is your website landing page and form actually converting well, meaning that people are submitting it?  It might need a A/B test to see if another layout works better.
